Monday Mix 8

Alright, so I plunged into the realm of commercial dubstep today, after listen to a remix I thought was pretty crunchy (first song on the mix). Realistically, I know absolutely nothing about this genre, so, if any of you who download this do (although there are only like 15 of you haha), hook me up with some tips, because it seems pretty interesting, and with enough bass, I could see myself getting into a groove. This isn't really music I would love to play at a mixer, but it is undoubtedly catchy once you start to feel the low frequencies in your chest. Monday (sunday lol) Mix #7

Alright, so this started off as a Progressive House mix, but I was compelled to throw in some David Guetta at the beginning, because that song is so catchy and awesome. The rest of it is, for the most part, Prog House from the likes of Nic Chagell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Solarity. After making this mix I've found myself really entranced by this genre, and I think it may become one of my new favorites. This mix is rough, as I am kind of out of practice following my short break. Jezebel Cover - Iron and Wine

Alright, so I know I haven't posted any new mixes lately, and I would just like to say it is because I have been recording some acoustic tracks (and I have dj's block). This track is my first run through of Jezebel by Iron and Wine, a song some of you may remember me playing at koffeehaus. Give it a listen, and I hope you enjoy it, although it is still very rough, and in need of my real flute, instead of the penny whistle I used in this version.

Twice In A Blue Moon: Album Mix

I took it upon myself to mix Ferry Corsten's Twice In A Blue Moon. This Album was released last year, 2008, in an unmixed format. You will Find all the songs from the album with the exception of Gabriella's Sky, cause I couldn't figure out how to make it fit in there. Props to Corsten for producing such a beautiful album.

Monday mix 6

Although I didn't post a mix last week (and never got around to posting those acoustic covers) here's my next mix. Pretty much, I just wanted to hear Daft Punk's Around The World/Harder Better Faster Stronger mashup, because its beast.
