Monday Mix 9

Alright. I finally got around to doing another mix, because I've been sick all week and pretty much stuck in bed. I went back to the beginning, and put together another trance mix. It's a pretty good combo of vocal and non, as well as new and old tracks., and I'm pretty satisfied with the selection. I made this one a bit longer, cause I feel kind of bad about slacking off for the last month. I hope all of you enjoy it, and as you can see, there is a little star rating thing down at the bottom, and I'd really appreciate it if you gave me some feedback on this mix, as well as my others. The mixing is still rough... and unfortunatly, I don't think it will get much better until I get my hands on some hardware... its just too difficult to x-fade and eq with only a mouse.

Hope you enjoy it =)

Monday mix... in a state of turmoil?

Alright, So I haven't done a mix yet for today, and I was planning on doing glitch hop, but instead I got to do a sweet distance formula calculator for my Fortran lab... (useless). I may or may not get to one by monday night/tuesday morning, but either way, I promise that you will have another acoustic track from me, as well as a mash up that will include Benassi's Satisfaction.

Bear with me here. Thanks.

No Monday Mix this week

Sorry guys and girls, I was at the beach all weekend with no internet, so I didnt get to scrounge around for music, and devout the customary 5 hours to recording/nailing down transitions that I usually do.

I'm currently looking at doing Glitch Hop for next week.

Also, I'm currently working on a Pretty sick mashup. I think you may like it.

Monday Mix 8

Alright, so I plunged into the realm of commercial dubstep today, after listen to a remix I thought was pretty crunchy (first song on the mix). Realistically, I know absolutely nothing about this genre, so, if any of you who download this do (although there are only like 15 of you haha), hook me up with some tips, because it seems pretty interesting, and with enough bass, I could see myself getting into a groove. This isn't really music I would love to play at a mixer, but it is undoubtedly catchy once you start to feel the low frequencies in your chest. Give it a listen, tell me what ya think, and link your friends over here: The more the merrier.

Monday (sunday lol) Mix #7

Alright, so this started off as a Progressive House mix, but I was compelled to throw in some David Guetta at the beginning, because that song is so catchy and awesome. The rest of it is, for the most part, Prog House from the likes of Nic Chagell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Solarity. After making this mix I've found myself really entranced by this genre, and I think it may become one of my new favorites. This mix is rough, as I am kind of out of practice following my short break. Give it a download, and tell me what ya think.

Jezebel Cover - Iron and Wine

Alright, so I know I haven't posted any new mixes lately, and I would just like to say it is because I have been recording some acoustic tracks (and I have dj's block). This track is my first run through of Jezebel by Iron and Wine, a song some of you may remember me playing at koffeehaus. Give it a listen, and I hope you enjoy it, although it is still very rough, and in need of my real flute, instead of the penny whistle I used in this version.

Twice In A Blue Moon: Album Mix

I took it upon myself to mix Ferry Corsten's Twice In A Blue Moon. This Album was released last year, 2008, in an unmixed format. You will Find all the songs from the album with the exception of Gabriella's Sky, cause I couldn't figure out how to make it fit in there. Props to Corsten for producing such a beautiful album.

Here;s the link

Twice In A Blue Moon

Enjoy, and Comment!

Monday mix 6

Although I didn't post a mix last week (and never got around to posting those acoustic covers) here's my next mix. Pretty much, I just wanted to hear Daft Punk's Around The World/Harder Better Faster Stronger mashup, because its beast. I hope you guys enjoy this even though I went way overboard with crap effects (but I had FUN doing it). Thanks ahead for the download, give me feedback and recommendations!

Monday Mix #6

Monday Mixtape

Alright, I'm sorry to say, but there will be no Mixtape this week. I've been out of town, and didn't really get a chance to listen to enough music to get a good set of songs together.

In the meantime, expect for me to throw some acoustic covers that I recorded up at some point, and download any of the mixes that you havn't heard yet.

Anyway, here are some trance tunes

Monday Mix # 5

This week I did a Drum n Bass mix, all thanks to Conrad and his suggestion (see! feed me music foo's!). It's mainly Liquid DnB, a la High Contrast, but as far as sub genres go, I'm not very knowledgeable. Sorry about the super rough transition between songs 2 and 3, had to manually beatmatch, and my headphones broke, which made things kind of tough.

Well anyways, here is the mix. Great stuff to listen to when one is doing any form of traveling, running, driving, boating, biking, or whatever (its a tad longer than 10 min)

Monday Mix #4

Alright!!!!

This week I bring you Hardstyle with limited mix proofreading (yay excuses!)

This one was trickier than I thought it would be, turns out most Hardstyle songs change tempo mid song, which kind of sucked. Tried to bring you the best parts of some great songs from the likes of Headhunterz, Ivan Carsten, etc.

I hope you enjoy it, although many people may not be into this genre of music. Remember to comment, whether its here or on my facebook!!!

Monday Mix 4

Thinking about next mix

Cant decide if I want to do a Trance or a Hardstyle mix. I would love to do a trance mix, but I just did it a little while ago, so I will probably do a hardstyle mix to keep things variated

I guess I'll just have to wait and see what I feel like doing.

Monday Mix # 3

Alright, I'm really tired tonight, so you all get a semi recycled happy hardcore mix I did a while back. A few of you have probably already heard it, I played an early version of it at the end of the year lock in.

Enjoy, and as always leave comments!!!!

Monday Mix # 3

my b on the Come Running transition.

Oh yeah, and if you know people who like hardcore, go ahead and give it to them!

DeadMau5

Been listening to a lot of his stuff lately, so I figured I do a bit of a tribute mix.

songs were kind of chosen randomly, ranging from some dirty stuff to some real chillout. Go ahead and give it a download if you would!

Deadmau5 Mix

P.S. Sorry its sloppy.

Made of Love

Man, I love this track off of Ferry Corsten's album "Twice In a Blue Moon", but the Push remix is just pure amazing. It gives the track the boost it needs, to take those vocals, and that slightly dirty synth, out on to the dance floor!
